A Tale of Two Hamantaschen Cooking Class
The beauty of Jewish food lies in its diversity. Jews have made their home in countries around the world, adopting elements of local food cultures that were then folded into their own Jewish cooking. The variety of ingredients is staggering and exciting! Spanning continents and cultures, we love exploring the ingredients eaten by different Jewish communities.
During this cooking class, we’ll show you how to make savory and sweet hamantaschen that are inspired by two different Jewish communities to bring new flavors to your Purim celebrations. We’ll be making cacio e pepe hamantaschen inspired by the Italian Jewish community and pistachio hawaij hamantaschen inspired by the Yemenite Jewish community. We’ll also share our tips for making the perfect hamantaschen every time!
Join Micah Siva and Kat Romanow on Sunday, March 5th at 2:00 pm EST / 11:00 am PST on Zoom.
