Virtual Falafel Making Workshop with Leah Koenig
Since traveling is out of the question right now – even around the corner to our favorite middle eastern restaurants – we’re giving you the next best option: a free virtual falafel making workshop with Leah Koenig! Leah is a cookbook author and writer whose work and recipes have appeared in The New York Times, New York Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, Epicurious, Food52, Saveur, Tablet, and more. She has written 6 cookbooks, including The Jewish Cookbook and Modern Jewish Cooking. In addition to writing, Leah also leads cooking demonstrations and workshops around the country and world. We are so excited to (virtually) cook with her!
Falafel may seem intimidating to make on your own, but it’s a pantry friendly dish that is very easy to make. The recipe is extremely adaptable, filled with staples you probably already have on hand, and we’ll be sharing a lot of substitutions. There’s very little advance prep required – just soak your chickpeas the night before and you’re ready to cook.
Join us and Leah Koenig on Sunday, April 26th from 3-4 pm EST on Zoom.
To access the Zoom link, please RSVP using the Eventbrite link above. The event is free and once you sign up, you’ll be sent the link to access the virtual workshop.
We’re also so excited to be presenting this event along with our friends at the Musée du Montréal juif – Museum of Jewish Montreal
